Race day registration: 7:30-8:00 amThis USARA sanctioned event is beginner friendly, but will test experienced racers. This race is for 2-person teams: Male, female, co-ed, and co-ed masters (each team member must be 40 years old on race day). A solo divsion has been added for 2008. The race course will include running, mountain biking, and paddling. The duration will be approximately 3 to5 hours. Boats, paddles, and PFDs will be provided, you may not use your own. Racers must provide a mountain bike, helmet, and means of carrying water or something to drink.
Awards and prizes for top 3 finishers in each division. Finishing medals to all who finish the race.
Enrty Fee: $90 per team. $55 for solo racers.
A USARA license is required for all racers and can be purchased on race day or online. One day license: $8; One year license: $35
Mountain bikes available to rent for $25. Contact Rick Sanders to rent bikes at 713-303-9888.
